Some upgrades and add-ons

      I added the Armageddon headlight upgrade and the pannier bags when I purchased Bia and I am so glad that I did. At 1500 lumens it lights a wide swath - i feel really good about getting a few kms in after work (afternoon shift so out usually after midnight) and not running into trouble with potholes.      After Bia and I started to get to know each other, I knew I really needed a mirror  which I found on Amazon; not the best, but it gives me wide, clear view and it was easy to attach, adjust and it stays put. I wasn't happy with the controller which did not display the voltage % of the battery remaining so I read through posts in my Facebook groups as well as Reddit. the 500c Bafang controller was my choice which I bought from Electrify Bike Company  It boasts a colour display as well as voltage/wattage being consumed. The Beginning

     Welcome to my ramblings about my bike and the adventures and lessons that I am learning since investing in an e-bike. I started out thinking I wanted a classic café racer look but as I logged the hours on the internet web and talked to myself about what my goals really were, I knew my search was going to go in a different direction. Function over form. Also, buying from a Canadian company was a priority. Some were easier to eliminate than others, I didnt want an ugly ride, esthetics were a top three priority. Range rounded out my top three priority list. I was looking for a bike that would be my vehicle at the same time I want to get more fit, but as a woman of a certain age I also want to know that I will be able to get home even when I venture farther than maybe I should have.      Biktrix checked every box and though I had to wait a few months, it was worth it.
