Things you can't see and things you can

There will be no picture for my brake pad change - the thing that you cant see - but I changed to resin pads because the noise from the stock brake pads was insufferable. after 825km I also had to adjust the derailleur; I couldn't get to fourth from fifth without sliding down to third and then coming up. This video uses the an ordinary person, layman's language and it's entertaining as well.      Now we come to the portion of my blog that I have been most looking forward to - Where Was Daphné Today? I have been posting straight to Facebook up until now, but it it time to graduate. I am going to include the location using three words. What3words  is my new favourite thing and makes precise locating super easy & fun.      I splurged a bit and bought a GoPro Hero 7 silver and I am hoping that as i get more fit and venture farther that I will have wee videos as well in the future. Some upgrades and add-ons

I added the Armageddon headlight upgrade and the pannier bags when I purchased Bia and I am so glad that I did. At 1500 lumens it lights a wide swath - i feel really good about getting a few kms in after work (afternoon shift so out usually after midnight) and not running into trouble with potholes.      After Bia and I started to get to know each other, I knew I really needed a mirror  which I found on Amazon; not the best, but it gives me wide, clear view and it was easy to attach, adjust and it stays put. Function over form. Also, buying from a Canadian company was a priority. Some were easier to eliminate than others, I didnt want an ugly ride, esthetics were a top three priority. Range rounded out my top three priority list. I was looking for a bike that would be my vehicle at the same time I want to get more fit, but as a woman of a certain age I also want to know that I will be able to get home even when I venture farther than maybe I should have.      Biktrix checked every box and though I had to wait a few months, it was worth it. I went with the Juggernaut Duo Classic which is a  mid-drive motor as I am surrounded by hills. I know how to and en
